GCEX Holding Limited Files 2025 Annual Report
30 September 2026 - GC Exchange FZE has filed its annual report and financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2025 with Companies House.
The Group reported turnover of £4.15 million (2024: £4.35 million), reflecting lower trading activity during the year. The loss before tax of £1.44 million (2024: £0.71 million) principally reflects acquisition-related and integration costs following the acquisition of GlobalBlock in September 2025, together with continued investment in trading technology. Capital and reserves increased to £7.77 million (2024: £5.10 million).
The acquisition of GlobalBlock Limited and its subsidiaries, completed on 23 September 2025, expanded the Group's digital asset proposition and client base, adding institutional and wealth products to GCEX's prime brokerage, FX and technology offering.
GCEX's operating model is unchanged. The Group hedges 100% of client trades and does not take proprietary positions against its clients. It operates through separately authorised entities in the UK (GC Exchange Limited), the EU (GC Exchange A/S) and Dubai (GC Exchange FZE), and serves institutional and professional clients only.
Lars Holst, Founder and CEO, GCEX, commented: "2025 was a year of deliberate investment. We completed the acquisition of GlobalBlock, broadened our digital asset proposition and kept building our technology, and those costs are reflected in this year's results. What hasn't changed is how we run the business: we hedge every client trade, we're regulated across three tier 1 jurisdictions, and we work exclusively with institutional and professional clients."
