HOW IT WORKS

Four steps, one formal agreement

Apply

Tell us about your business, your regulatory status and the clients you expect to introduce. If it looks like a fit, we'll send you an onboarding link so GCEX Compliance can complete due diligence on your business.

Agree Terms

If it's a fit, we agree to a formal Partner Agreement with commercial terms specific to your business and the GCEX entity relevant to the clients you're introducing.

Introduce

Once your agreement is signed, you'll get a dedicated partner link to submit introductions. GCEX onboards each client and will let you know once the client's account is open.

Get Paid, Transparently

Commission is calculated on the terms in your Partner Agreement once an introduced client is onboarded and trading, and reported to you on a monthly statement.

An introductions' agreement

 

 

 

 

The Referral Programme is an introductory arrangement. Partners introduce prospective clients to GCEX. GCEX carries out all regulated activities, including client onboarding, due diligence, execution and the ongoing client relationship. As a referral partner, you must not advise clients on GCEX's products or services, negotiate terms on GCEX's behalf, or hold yourself out as acting for GCEX or as authorised or regulated by GCEX.

 

Your Partner Agreement will specify which GCEX entity and which products apply to the introductions you make. You are responsible for any licence or registration your own activity requires where you operate. Where required, GCEX will tell clients you introduce about the referral agreement.

FAQs

Questions partners ask first

  • Is this an affiliate or marketing programme?
    No. This is an introductions arrangement with a formal Partner Agreement, not a self-serve affiliate link.
  • Can I introduce clients in any jurisdiction?
    Tell us where your clients are based when you apply. GCEX's regulatory permissions and onboarding requirements vary by jurisdiction and product, and we'll confirm what's possible for your client base as part of the application.
  • How is commission worked out?
    Commercial terms are agreed individually once your Partner Agreement is in place. We don't publish a flat rate card because it depends on the business you introduce.
  • How long does it take to get set up?
    Our Compliance team will onboard you as part of the GCEX Referral Partner Programme. The approval and set up depends on the circumstances of each case.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW

 

 

GCEX does not currently maintain arrangements under which it refers or introduces its clients to other entities, including other Virtual Asset Service Providers, in return for any monetary or non-monetary benefit. GCEX does not currently receive any monetary benefit, including by way of reciprocation for any service or business, in connection with referring or introducing its clients to another entity. Should GCEX enter into any such arrangement in the future, the relevant arrangements and applicable benefits will be disclosed in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements.
