GCEX, the regulated digital prime brokerage, and Tether will co-host an invitation-only institutional breakfast, "The Future of Institutional Liquidity: Regulated Tokenisation and Global Payments," on 24 September 2026 at Capital Club, DIFC, Dubai. The event brings together up to 50 senior figures from across the digital asset and trading ecosystem to examine regulated tokenisation, stablecoins in cross-border payments, and treasury infrastructure for institutions.
Held in the same week as Forex Expo Dubai, the breakfast creates a dedicated space for institutional players, heads of crypto and trading, family offices, founders and investors, to look at real use cases and the direction of virtual assets in the region.
The programme opens with a keynote on VARA regulation and the regulated pathway for institutional digital assets in the UAE, followed by three panel discussions: the role of USDT and Tether Gold (XAUt) in institutional portfolios; stablecoins in institutional global payments; and protecting crypto wealth alongside the cost-efficient movement of money.
Confirmed speakers include Lars Holst, CEO of GCEX Group, alongside senior representatives from Tether, VARA, Middle East Stablecoin Association (MESA), RWA Labs, PayTech, and more.
“Institutions want digital asset exposure within a clear regulatory framework, with transparency around their counterparties. That’s the conversation this breakfast is built around. Dubai’s VARA framework provides an important foundation for discussing how institutional participation can develop.”
Lars Holst, CEO, GCEX Group
